History
MNB Technologies, Inc., was founded in April 2004 as a research & development services provider to agencies and firms interested in the emerging field of reconfigurable computing.
MNB’s founders were the scientists investigating the use of Mentor Graphics’ V-Station logic emulation system, a massive array of up to 384 FPGAs, as an engine for reconfigurable computing applications and their Precision-C (currently called Catapult) high level synthesis tool as the development language/environment. Mentor subsequently disbanded the project and the principal investigators formed MNB Technologies to continue research and development in the area of FPGA based computing, and to promote and support the concept of “developer-centered” approach to reconfigurable computing.
MNB has also capitalized on its core competency in adaptive and embedded computing and created a family of advanced architecture products for multi-level security, secure application processing, and synthetic holography.
MNB continues its focus on using advanced computing architectures to accelerate applications in the areas of defense, homeland security, modeling & simulation, technical appliations, and scientific discovery.
